I've always known I wanted to be in the medical field, but after graduating, I was uncertain about my path—physical therapy, occupational therapy, or medical school. Eventually, I chose ultrasound, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I truly love creating images and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to assist in diagnoses.After several years in the clinical setting, I was apprehensive about transitioning to education, but I realized teaching was also a passion of mine. My purpose has always been to help patients and bring a smile to their faces on their toughest days. Working with students, I’ve discovered that same sense of purpose and passion. I enjoy shaping the next generation of ultrasound technicians and feel like I'm continually learning alongside them.

Currently, as the Lead Massage Therapist at Hand & Stone in Harbison, David not only delivers specialized treatments but also facilitates training programs for staff development, contributing to an exemplary 87% client satisfaction rate. Additionally, he is the proprietor of EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC, a private wellness practice he founded in 2018, where he delivers individualized therapeutic services addressing diverse client health needs. David's professional background is complemented by roles in sales and administration, where he developed essential interpersonal and organizational skills through positions at Dollar General, Prairie Quest Consulting, Kratos Defense, and during his 14-year tenure with the United States Navy. His blend of expertise in therapeutic massage, coupled with a disciplined approach derived from his military background, underscores his commitment to advancing standards in massage therapy and wellness education.
